My 06 tahoe just got this problem all other doors lock and unlock with the fab and door switch but the hatch is in permanent locked mode.

I replaced the outside lock and it was working fine put a new actuator in and put the panel back on and installed the inside door handle. I do not have auto close open rear door. My husband said the motor went out but i dont know how to fix that. I cant even unlock the hatch window.
